Come take a trip to Little Big Town in 1892 and spend the afternoon traveling across the prairie with great food, great scenery and a cast of interactive characters. West of Nowhere: A Western Western

Grahame Kent and Amanda Trapp will send you way way way back in time to explore a western western set in Nowheresville, East of the Rockies.

Our Intrepid hero and legend of the West, Bosiah Logan, has been pulled out of his retirement by his stalwart sidekick, niece and actual hero, Annie Blackburn. They travel to the sleepy town of Nowheresville to fend off a devilish energy tycoon who’s set his sights on the town. A joyful and musical lampoon of Western tropes ensues!

Dr. Frightful is back and has joined the future with a podcast! Turns out its so easy an ancient undead monster from your nightmares can do it! Come explore some creepy, spoooky and laughter inducing tales as the Good Doctor pulls some of his favourite bite sized out of his dusty old library and delivers them straight to your podcasting device. (Its probably your phone but maybe you still use an ipod? Or like your home computer? Or maybe a ham radio that you somehow modified to get podcasts? People can do wild things you know)

Buttered Ghost Theatre

Buttered Ghost Theatre (formally known as NeverEnding Highway Productions) is a Saskatoon based theatre company founded in 2011,
Buttered Ghost Theatre strives to produce shows that are lively, new, challenging and, above all else, fun and entertaining. Our goal is to excite our audience, to give them a unique experience, and to make memories. We also endeavor to give work to as many emerging professionals as we can.


 Meet Our Team!

Grahame Kent - Artistic Producer/Founder

A Treaty 6 based theatre artist, Grahame is hiding in many places, like Waldo; working as performer, writer, producer, designer, voice artist, editor, dramaturg, director and stage manager . A graduate of the Globe Theatre Conservatory in 2016 and the University of Saskatchewan's BFA program in 2013.

Grahame has been producing and writing theatre since his very first Fringe show in 2008. Grahame has worked with Live Five Independent Theatre, Persephone Theatre, The Globe Theatre, Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan and has done two CAFF tours.
Grahame sat on the Live Five Board of Directors from 2013-2018 and the 25th St Theatre Board of Directors from 2012-2015

Grahame is currently working on the Dr. Frightful podcast and a new musical with Amanda Trapp.

Johanna Arnott - Artistic Associate/Playwright in Residence

Johanna Arnott (she/her) is a Saskatoon based theatre artist who works primarily as an actor, writer, and stage manager. Some of her theatre credits include: UnboxedNightmareTours.com (actor/co-writer; This is NOT that Festival), PLAY FAIL WIN (co-creator/OBS Technician; This is NOT that Festival), Short Cuts 2020 (actor), The Winter’s Tale (actor; Bridge Theatre Co.), The Wolves (actor; littleBIG Theatre & Evilstick Productions), Turn Turn Turn (ASM; Sum Theatre), and The Penelopiad (SM; Ferre Play Theatre). Recently she has been doing a lot of writing for things like: Dr. Frightful Presents: A Podcast and Saskatoon Playwrights Center’s Write Like You Mean It program.

Johanna is currently writing a new show about Anne Brontë.
